Location Atlanta, Georgia Department Department of Health And Human Services Agenc Centers for Disease Control and Prevention SubAgenc National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention MajorDuties As an Administrative Officer, you will: Oversee the formulation of the operating budget which is derived from multiple funding sources and addresses normal operating activities as well as unique program authorizations. Interpret travel regulations for the various situations encountered. Plan and direct comprehensive studies and analyses of the missions, plans, operations and relationships to define its administrative services needs. Define management requirements and ensures development of administrative plans and systems to meet those requirements. Advise on contracting and negotiation procedures and supervises development of inter/intra agency agreements, reimbursable agreements and grants management. Advise on human resource management strategy for the serviced organization, taking into account unique program needs and specialized FTE appropriations. Evaluate all personnel action requests to ensure actions not only comply with policy and FTE ceilings, but also are equitable and consistent within the serviced organization. Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of worj, when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned that are related to this position. Education Requirements US Citizenship is required. Background Investigation may be required.
